energy consumption
Energy certificate: annual energy consumption for heating and hot water
as well as CO² emissions

A modern central heating system, which combines geothermal and solar energy and also prepares the hot water, was installed in 2008. It ensures low energy consumption: the annual energy consumption is less than 60 kWh per m². (Note: for the energy certificate, the real power consumption must be multiplied by a factor of 2.5!)

The heating is supplemented by a wood stove (poêle) placed in the original fire-place in the eat-in kitchen.

According to the energy certificate, the CO² emission is only 4 kg / m² a (class A).

The drinking water comes from the springs of the Pyrenees, it is not extracted from the rivers - therefore of very good quality.

Expansion options

In the garden there is plenty of space to install a large swimmingpool or convert a pond for wild swimming.

The chai (wine cellar) can be converted into another room or used to extend the lounge.

The stable can be converted into a separate holiday apartment.
